“My name is Daw Aye Thida Khaing and my daughter is Moe Myint Thawtar. My baby was born in Yangon on May 1, 2014 and has been in ICU for almost two months since birth for congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia. Me and my husband were very sad and decided to do everything we can for our baby. We were very excited and looking forward to getting treatment from Malaysia. Finally, we brought our daughter to National Heart Institute with the help of Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council on February 2019. My daughter received a successful operation at IJN. She is now able to live a normal life and is living with a heart rate of 99-100 due to the care of the IJN Hospital.”
